These sites are adjacent to a very important
vlei (or marsh) that permanently siphons water. Unfortunately the area
is overrun by wattle and eucalyptus trees which will be rehabilitated,
retaining the indigenous trees. This will revitalise the vlei which will
make it jewel of the reserve attracting many bird species.
